May Cooking Class

Golden Week is fast approaching and we are hosting a Golden Week Cooking Party. 

Living in Japan I have many Jamaican friends. In fact, the first person who asked me to cater an event here in Japan was my Jamaican friend Monique. She is an awesome singer who I sometimes sing with. 

What started as wanting to serve food for her room mate & good friend's going away party has turned into a long standing relationship of catering for her events which includes the famous Free Your Mind Annual Black History Event.

In honor of Monique, I created a Jamaican meal of Jerk chicken & Rice and Peas to fit her and our many friends' palate. Who knew this meal would become one of my most popular and highly requested menus?
